Mr. LHS is next Monday, May 19th at 7:00p.m. Any grade can participate. If you want to compete to be the next Mr. LHS, sign up in Carol’s office as soon as possible. Tickets are $5 or $3 with ASB card.
CSF Community Service hours for the Spring Semester are due to Mrs. Satica or Counseling by Tuesday, May 20th. 10
hours must be documented and signed off each semester for active membership credit.
Who will be our next Miss Lassen County? Applications are now available for all Junior and Senior girls. Please see Mrs. Bennett in Room 115 for an application. Deadline is May 23rd.
Important Reminder! Credit Recovery – Online Plato Courses and PE Logs are due no later than May 16th. Seniors, these courses must be completed and passed in order to participate in senior activities and to receive your diploma.
Come see Student Services in the library if you need assistance or to pick up PE Log sheets.
Do you love to draw? Want to share your visions with our school? Here’s your chance! Tomorrow, May 13th, there will be a Chalk Pastel Art Day where you will have the opportunity to draw a 12”x 12” drawing of your choice on the zig-zag cement wall leading to the 700 building.

Congratulations to the Boys Golf Team – they finished second in league and to the three golfers that made all-league, Cameron Wattenburg, Joe Bertotti and Ryan Painter.
Have you dreamed about performing under the Friday Night Lights? Now is your time to try out for the Lassen High School Drill Team! Tryouts are Monday 5/19 through Thursday 5/22 at 3:30 in the small gym. Please bring water and be dressed to dance. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Bennett in room 115.
Volleyball Meeting: to discuss summer schedule and plan for next year’s season will be held May 21st during lunch in Mrs. Newman’s room 757. If you are interested in playing volleyball next year you should attend this meeting. Lunch will be available.

Senior Prom Bids at school can be purchased through today in ASB Office for
$10. Tickets will be sold at the door for same price, cash only.
Prom is May 10th, 2025 at Sentimental Journey from 8:00 until 11:00p.m., Seniors and
their guest only. Also, if you need a dress, tux, shoes or makeup—LHS Prom Closet
is open until tomorrow, located in Library, go check it out.
Want to be in the Video for Baccalaureate Night? Baccalaureate ceremony is nondenominational, religious-based ceremony that offers a smaller, more intimate opportunity for the graduating class and their families to pause, reflect on this rite
of passage, celebrate through prayer and performance, and celebrate the graduates’ achievements and perseverance.
It is not required to attend, and it is organized by parents and community members. Ours will be held on June 1st at the Susanville Assembly of God Church, from 6 to 8p.m.
If you want to be included in the video for Baccalaureate, email a jpeg version of
your senior picture to [email protected] by May 23rd. You may also include your favorite Bible verse if you wish.
