The Lassen High School Class of 1981 is getting a head start on planning an unforgettable 45th reunion! To make sure this is the best one yet, the organizers want to hear from all of the class members. Your input will help them create an event that everyone will enjoy.
The organizers have put together a survey to gather your ideas and preferences on key decisions. They’re looking for your thoughts on the date, the venue, entertainment and more details.
There are three options for the reunion date. The Class of 1981 reunion could choose to be a part of the All-LHS Reunion on Saturday, June 20th, 2026 (Father’s Day Weekend), where the Class of ’81 would plan a separate event around the all-class luncheon.
Another option is a Saturday in mid-to-late July 2026, which could include a Friday night outing to the Lassen County Fair. The third option is a Saturday in late September 2026, possibly with a Friday night outing to a Lassen Grizzlies home game.
The committee is exploring local venues and wants to know your preference between Far, Far Away Ranch in Susanville and Sentimental Journey in Janesville.
The group is also trying to decide on the best entertainment for the event. Would you prefer a live band, a DJ, or music provided by a volunteer classmate?
In addition to these options, the organizers are considering other activities such as a high school tour, a Friday night gathering at a local brewery, a group trip to the Fair or a Grizzlies game, and a Sunday morning breakfast.

The reunion committee would love your support to make this event a success. If you’re interested in volunteering, please let them know if you can help with decorations, food, drinks, music, set-up, clean-up, or coordinating one of the events.
The organizers also need your help in reaching every classmate. “We want to make sure everyone from the Class of ’81 has a chance to be part of the celebration,” said a reunion organizer.
