Grizzly Football
On Friday, November 7th, Lassen’s Varsity Football team won their game against Central Valley by a score of 53 to 6. The team is now 8-2 overall and 5-0 in league play.
Lassen’s Junior Varsity team beat Central Valley 66 to 0. The Freshman Grizzlies lost to Orland, 40-6.
This Friday, November 14th, the Grizzlies will take on Corning, here at Arnold Field. Gametime for Varsity is 7:00p.m.

Credence is doing a No Hungry Families food drive. Their goal is to feed 20 LUHSD families. They are accepting donations until the 19th at the LHS Main Office. If you have questionls or would like to be involved see Krystle Hollandsworth or Antonia Marro. Unexpired canned food and non-perishable pantry items can be donated.

Interested in joining a Supportive Wellness Group? Students who would like to participate in a confidential and supportive small group focused on health, stress and coping are invited to sign up for the ‘My Healthy Futures: Nicotine and Cannabis Group’. The group will meet after school for two 1-hour sessions hosted by social worker Krystle Hollandsworth, Meeting dates will be in mid-November. If you are interested, please complete the short interest form in the Counseling office.
Boys soccer open field is every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30 at Riverside Park. Tryouts will be November 10th, 11th and 12th at Riverside Park from 3:30 until 5:30p.m.
Girls Soccer Open Field every Wednesday and Friday from 3:30 to 5:00 at Riverside Park until tryouts on November 10th through the 12th.
If you are joining the wrestling team you will need to stop by the nursing office, during nutrition or lunch and pick up a parent permission form. Coach Moore will have them also. This must be signed in order to have your body composition test done.
Fundraising – Lassen FBLA is selling Breast Cancer Awareness shirts for $20. All proceeds will be going to Northern California Cancer Advocates.
