Lassen’s Varsity team lost their game against Red Bluff High School by a score of 7 to 28. This was the second pre-league home game of the season.
Lassen’s JV team beat Red Bluff 30 to 7 and the Freshman lost to the Spartans, 22 to 7.
This Friday, September 12th, the Grizzlies will travel to Enterprise to take on the Enterprise Hornets.

The We Are Lassen Sponsor for August and September is Susanville’s Taco Bell restaurant. If you get a We Are Lassen card, you can be entered to win a gift card to Taco Bell.
If you missed the first Competitive Cheer tryout you will have one more opportunity to be a part of the team. You will need to have a current sports physical on file and complete Home Campus. The second tryout will be held September 9th, and 10th, from 5:30 to 7:30p.m. in the student center.
California Scholarship Federation Applications are now available in the Counseling Office or from Mrs. Satica in room 112. If you are a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior who earned good grades and completed 10 hours of community service CSF is the club for you.
Completed applications, using last semester’s grades, are due by the first meeting on Tuesday, September 23rd, in room 112 at lunch. At the first meeting you can get help filling out applications, ask questions about CSF, help plan service activities for the year and nominate officers.
Reminder to Students: when you go to a sporting event such as volleyball and football, you are expected to stay at the event. No “coming and going” throughout the event. Please have your snacks and coats and etc. prior to entering.
Powder Puff Football Sign-ups have begun for all grades. If you want to play you will need a permission slip from Mrs. Carol’s Office. Permission slips need to be signed and turned in before September 10th, the start of the first practice.
