On Friday, October 10th, Lassen’s Varsity Football team won their game against the Anderson High School Cubs by a score of 43 to 6. The team is now 4-2 overall and 1-0 in league play.
Lassen’s Junior Varsity team beat Anderson 61 to 0. On Thursday the Freshman squad lost to West Valley, 40 to 12.
This Friday, October 17th, the Grizzlies will take on University Prep in Redding. Gametime for Varsity is 7:30p.m.

Do you love to draw? Want to share your vision with our school? Here’s your chance! Thursday, October 16th will be a chalk pastel art day where you will have the opportunity to draw a 12″x 12″ drawing of your choice on the zig zag cement wall leading to the 700 building. All artistic students are encouraged to help create a temporary outdoor gallery at LHS. To be a part of this fun art event, bring a sketch or picture of your intended drawing to Ms. Weiher in room 716 or 717 by the end of the day on Friday, October 10th. Boys soccer open field starts Tuesday, October 7th at Riverside Park from 3:30 to 5:00p.m. Tryouts will be November 10th, 11th and 12th at Riverside Park from 3:30 until 5:30p.m.

Susanville FFA will host a Halloween Fun 5k on October 22nd from 4:00 to 6:00p.m. in Ranch Park. Free entry, costume contest.
Fundraising – Lassen FBLA is selling Breast Cancer Awareness shirts for $20. All proceeds will be going to Northern California Cancer Advocates.
