Lassen high varsity baseball beat Corning in two games on Tuesday at Corning to go 7-1 in league play.
In game one Lassen beat Corning 16-9. Winning pitcher was Garrison Collier. At the plate for Lassen Colby Chavez had 2 home runs, Daniel Perry had a home run, a triple, a base hit and an RBI, Jarrell Cunningham had 3 base hits and an RBI, Ryan Sharpe and Joey Beck had 2 base hits a piece, Garrison Collier had a double and an RBI, Nate Freeman and Logan Loflin each had a base hit with 2 RBI.
In game two Lassen beat Corning 8-7. Ryan Sharpe gets the win. At the plate for the Grizzlies Jarrell Cunningham had a triple and a base hit, Colby Chavez had 2 base hits, Joey Beck had a double, a base hit and an RBI, Daniel Perry, Ryan Sharpe, and Garrison Collier all had a double, and Logan Loflin had a base hit.
The grizzlies will be at Memorial park this Friday to take on Corning again at 4:00pm.
