Lassen High Varsity Baseball traveled to Central Valley Friday and brought home the win 1-0. Pitching for Lassen were Jarrell Cunningham and Joey Beck. Cunningham had 3 strike outs, 1 walk and gave up 3 base hits, Beck had 6 strike outs, 2 walks and didn’t give up any hits.
At the plate for Lassen Nate Freeman had a base hit and Garrison Collier had a base hit scoring Freeman and the only run of the game. Colby Chavez and Joey Beck each had a base hit a piece.
The grizzlies take on Yreka at home in a double header Tuesday at 3:00pm at Memorial park.
