Lassen High Varsity baseball team won 2 of their 3 games in the Oroville tourney.
In game one they beat Las Plumas 23-3. Pitching for Lassen were Ryan Sharpe, Nate Freeman , Jaylin Ford. At the plate for Lassen Joey Beck had a GRAND SLAM, Daniel Perry had a home run 2 base hits and 3 RBI’s, Ryan Sharpe had a double, 3 base hits and 4 RBI’s, Nate Freeman had 2 base hits and 2 RBI’s, Colby Chavez had a double, Jarrell Cunningham, Jason Money, Travis Fuller Clinton McGill all had base hits.
In game two Lassen lost to Central Valley 3-1. Pitching for Lassen were Joey Beck and Jarrell Cunningham. Joey Beck had 12 strike outs and gave up 1 base hit. Jarrell Cunningham had 1 strike out and gave up 1 base hit. At the plate for Lassen Logan Loflin had a double and scored on an RBI by Jarrell Cunningham and Garrison Collier had a base hit.
In game three Lassen beat Shasta 7-4. Pitching for Lassen were Garrison Collier and Ryan Sharpe. Garrison had 4 strikeouts and gave up 5 hits. Ryan had 1 strike out and gave up 2 base hits. At the plate for Lassen Jarrell Cunningham had a Home run with an RBI and a double, Daniel Perry had 2 base hits, Garrison Collier and Colby Chavez each had a base hit.
Lassen travels to Paradise for a double header Tuesday March 12.
