Lassen High School and the Lassen High School District have a new leader at the helm – on August 4th, the school introduced Mark Brewer as the district’s new Superintendent/Principal.
“I am excited to introduce myself as the new Superintendent/Principal of Lassen High School. With a diverse experience in public education, I am eager to bring my passion for students to our vibrant school community,” Brewer said in a short statement released by the school.
“Throughout my career, I have been committed to fostering environments where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. My journey began in the classroom, where I taught, coached, and mentored students. Over the years my career evolved into leadership roles where I could impact school-wide culture and student learning.”
Brewer said that his personal vision for the school is one where every student feels valued, cared for, and empowered. A place where teachers and staff member are valued and supported and the community and school collaborate to ensure success for all.
“I look forward to meeting you and learning more about what makes our school and community exceptional. Together, we can build on our strengths and create new opportunities.”
Lassen High begins its school year August 13th.
