Lassen High School knows how to celebrate the holidays the right way, this Christmas season is no different, they’ll be hosting their annual Winter Carnival on December 20th.
“I’m so excited to help out and take canned food items to the Salvation Army following the event,” said Ivanna Rose, chairperson for the event. “It makes me feel good to know we will be helping out for the holidays.”
This year any and all who attend are sure to be amused with entertainment ranging from Susanville Rockettes, Lassen High School’s Drill team and Cheerleaders. You can also bring your kids to visit Santa Clause or allow them to participate in various booths hosted by a variety of High School Clubs. Some of these booths will be selling delicious cookies and hot beverages to ward away the cold. Other booths will also include ‘Make your own ornament’ stations.
Entrance is one canned food item per person. These cans will be donated to Salvation Army to bring food to those struggling this Christmas Season. The Carnival will held on Thursday, December 20th, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Lassen High School big gym. All are invited to attend and encouraged to bring family and friends to this fun event.
Come one come all to share in the Christmas spirit and enjoy the last day before the apocalypse.
