The Lassen Humane Society is calling on county residents to join their membership drive and support their ongoing efforts to care for animals in Lassen County. The organization is seeking donations to fund their vital programs, including the combined dog and cat Spay/Neuter Assistance Program.
Membership Level Options are as follows: Individual – $10.00, Family – $25, Sustaining – $100, Sponsor – $250 and Life – $500.
According to the organization, their highest demand item is the financial relief offered through the combined dog and cat Spay/Neuter Assistance Program. In 2023 they provided more than 1,100 spay and nueters due to the increased support given to the Feral Cats Communities and the addition of a Dog Spay/Neuter Program in 2022.
All monies that the Humane Society receives goes into supporting the animals of Lassen County. Whatever you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
