Lassen Land and Trails Trust Hosting Annual Ski Event This Saturday

Get out and experience what winter has to offer in Lassen County!

The holidays are over and people are looking for ways to stay active and get out of the house in the new year, so Lassen Land and Trails Trust is inviting everyone to enjoy a fun ski trip this Saturday, January 29th.

This year, Phil Finkel will be leading a six-mile tour around Hog Flat, which is open to skiers and snowshoers.

Participants can meet at the Historic Railroad Depot, 601 Richmond Road, at 10:00a.m., to caravan up to Hog Flat.

You can also meet the group at the Hog Flat Trailhead (Hwy 44 and Goumaz turnoff) at 10:30.

You should bring plenty of water, lunch, and dress in layers for this trip.

If you would like to participate, please RSVP by email to [email protected].

Lassen Land and Trails Trust is a non-profit member supported organization that actively works to conserve significant natural areas and working landscapes and to promote and enhance a system of leading public trails in northeastern California — where the Sierra Nevada, Cascade, Modoc Plateau and the Great Basin converge, a unique region rich in agricultural heritage, wildlife and scenic vistas.
