Lassen Land and Trails Trust Presents: Travels on the Katy Trail

Lassen Land and Trails Trust is inviting the community to the historic Susanville Railroad Depot for an inspiring evening of adventure and storytelling. This Thursday, January 22nd, the Trust will present “Travels on the Katy Trail,” featuring local cyclists Ann Carlson and Dan Brown.

Carlson and Brown will be on hand to bring their unforgettable bicycle adventure to life, sharing photos and stories from their epic journey along Missouri’s famous Katy Trail.

Stretching an impressive 237 miles, the Katy Trail holds the distinction of being the longest rail-trail in the United States. It is considered a paradise for cyclists and hikers, winding alongside the majestic Missouri River.

The presentation will take attendees through the heartland of America, showcasing sweeping landscapes, rich history, and moments of natural beauty that unfold at every turn. Organizers invite the public to come and be inspired by the “sights, stories, and surprises of the trail.”

The presentation starts at 6:30p.m., in the Susanville Railroad Depot, 601 Richmond Road.
