Are you, or someone you love, affected by Nature Deficit Disorder? Lassen Land and Trails Trust’s Nature Camp is the cure!
If you have a child, grandchild, or even a friends’ child at home this summer, pry them away from that video game and send them to the Trust’s Nature Camp for great outdoor adventures and learning. Campers learn about wildlife, history, archaeology, geology, botany and how to be safe in the out-of-doors from resource professionals. Additionally they make new friends, learn new skills, and gain a greater understanding of the world around them.
This year there will be three sessions offered! The first two sessions will be day camps and are scheduled for July 21-25 and July 28 – August 1 for 8-10 year-olds. The third session is an Overnight Adventure scheduled for August 4-6 at Lassen County Youth Camp on Eagle Lake.
Registration is $80 per session, per child and includes lunch and snacks or all meals and lodging for the overnight. A limited number of scholarships are available for families who qualify.
