Seniors at high schools, charter schools and academies in the Honey Lake Valley, Westwood, Lake Almanor and Indian Valley are being offered four $2,000 scholarships this year by the Masons of Lassen Lodge #149.
The lodge will select four students from our region who are planning to attend an accredited college, university or trade school in pursuit of a higher education to award the scholarships.
Each scholarship will be for $2,000, with $1,000 sent upon receipt of class enrollment. After successful completion of the first year (with a 2.75 GPA or better) and receipt of class enrollment for the second year, another $1,000 will be sent.
The scholarships will be awarded to students who give detailed information, and no incomplete application will be considered. A typed, well-organized application is necessary, no handwritten application will be accepted.
