Lassen Municipal Utility District has announced the four recipients of this year’s LMUD Scholarships, recognizing a dedicated group of local scholars for their academic drive and community promise.
The scholarship program reflects LMUD’s ongoing commitment to investing in the next generation and supporting area students as they pursue vocational training, four-year degrees, and career opportunities across Northern California and beyond.
This year’s scholarship recipients include:
Jack Robinson, a graduate of the Lassen High School Class of 2026, plans to attend Lassen Community College to study welding and automotive repair, pursuing vital hands-on trades essential to rural communities.
Brynn Ewing, also a member of the LHS Class of 2026, will head to Oregon State University this fall to study business administration, preparing for a future in organizational management and leadership.
Shayla Sharp, a Westwood High School graduate, will continue her studies at Feather River College in Quincy, focusing on environmental studies and the stewardship of Northern California’s natural resources.
Ryleigh Hart, recipient of the Continuing College Student Scholarship, is currently attending California State University, Chico, where she studies business and project management.
“The future of our community depends on the success of our young people,” said LMUD General Manager Nick Dominguez. “We are honored to help support these students as they pursue their educational goals and congratulate them on their accomplishments.”
