Early learning professionals in Lassen County are invited to attend Play Power! Early Learning Professional Learning, an engaging workshop created specifically for educators and childcare providers serving children from Preschool through 2nd Grade.
Led by renowned early childhood educator, consultant, author and play guru Sharron Krull, the session offers practical, research-based strategies to foster student success through purposeful play.
Participants will explore critical topics such as self-regulation – learning how interactive games like “Scrambled Eggs & Icebergs” build impulse control, focus, and overall well-being. The workshop also dives into brain development and motor skill growth, demonstrating how cooperative group games, dancing, and active play jump-start young minds and bodies.
Everyone will leave equipped with classroom-ready activities they can put into practice right away.
The workshop takes place on Thursday, August 6th, from 9:30a.m. to 2:30p.m. at the Lassen County Office of Education. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided for attendees. The event is proudly sponsored by Lassen Child & Family Resources and the Lassen Planning Council.
