The Lassen County Office of Education has announced the return of its popular Sticker Contest, inviting all students and educators across the county to showcase their creativity and promote wellness through art.
Contestants design a custom sticker, and selected winners will have their artwork printed and distributed throughout the county.
“In 2023, LCOE received 32 submissions with parental signatures, resulting in 9 winning stickers being printed,” explains LCOE Communications Specialist Kaitlyn Midgely who added that the goal for 2025 is to encourage even more students and educators to engage in this creative initiative.
The artwork needs to be completed on a large, full sheet of paper – no sticker sized art. Any medium like markers, colored pencils, or paint is acceptable.
The entry must be your original work. A parent signature is required for artwork to be printed. A signature from must be attached to the art, complete and legible.
The artwork needs to be inspirational and school appropriate.
Submissions will be collected from attendance offices after April 1st, 2025. You can also drop off entries at the LCOE office, 472-013 Johnstonville Road, Susanville, CA or email your submission to [email protected].
“By participating, students and educators can express themselves through art while promoting positive messages within their schools and communities. LCOE encourages all Lassen County schools to take part in this wellness activity and looks forward to recognizing student and staff winners for their outstanding creativity.”
