Lassen County Public Health is hosting a food drive to collect child-friendly food donations to be distributed in the outlying areas of the county.
According to the department, the food will support our youth when school is not in session, including weekends and holiday breaks.
Examples of wanted items include cereal, crackers, peanut butter and jelly and microwavable items such as macaroni and cheese cups, canned goods with peel-back tops, juice boxes, water bottles, etc.
Donations will be accepted at the Public Health Office through December 8th, 1445 Paul Bunyan Road, suite B.
