Lassen SWAT Softball Team Takes 2nd Place

Lassen SWAT traveled to Reno, NV to play in the Fast pitch Freaks tournament on June 15^th and 16^th.

There were 49 teams entered into the tournament and 8 teams in the U10 division.

The girls won 5 out of 6 games

They took second place losing to the West Sac Attack with a final score of 9-6

Chelsea Williams hit a home run in the championship game

Chelsea Williams, Brooke Mullen and Jewel Kerby pitched.

All the girls have been hitting well.

They are qualified to travel to the All World Sports World Series held in Sacramento, CA. on July 10^th – 14^th.

This year so far they have played in 3 tournaments winning 12 out of 15 games.

They are traveling to Carson City this weekend to play in the Carson City Qualifier and then off to Fernley NV. to play in the Desert Valley qualifier.

And then they will travel to the World Series in Sacramento, Ca.
