Lassen United FC is looking for dedicated and hardworking young athletes to join their roster for the upcoming Fall 2026 season. These tryouts are specifically for the Boys U12 competitive team, which focuses on developing skilled, confident and team-oriented players. Please note that this program is independent and not affiliated with LYS.
Tryouts will take place at Riverside Park in Susanville on Tuesday, April 28th, and Thursday, April 30th. Each session runs from 5:00 to 6:30p.m., and players are encouraged to attend both dates if possible.
In a change from previous years, eligibility is now based on the school year rather than birth year, meaning eligible players must have been born between August 1st, 2014, and July 31st, 2016.
For those who make the 16-player roster, the season begins with practices in June, held three times per week right here in Susanville. Competitive games will follow from mid-August through October and are played on Saturdays in Reno, Nevada.
The registration cost is $200 per player, and the team will also participate in fundraising to help cover expenses for uniforms, equipment and tournaments.
