Lassen United FC is looking for the next generation of Susanville’s competitive soccer stars! Girls born between August 2012 and July 2014 are invited to try out for the U-14 competitive travel team as they prepare for the upcoming Fall 2026 season.
Tryouts for girls ages 12 and 13 will be held May 5th and 7th, from 5:30 to 7:00p.m., at Richmond School (700-585 Richmond Rd E), and attendance on both days is required for consideration.
Why Competitive Soccer?
Unlike recreational soccer, where placement is guaranteed by signing up, Lassen United F.C. is a competitive travel team. This means players are specifically selected for the roster and individual positions based on their performance during tryouts.
While the stakes are higher, Coach Victoria Estrada emphasizes that the coaching staff is looking for more than just raw skill.
“I’m excited for this next soccer season coaching the talented and hardworking Lassen United FC U14 Girls,” says Coach Estrada.
“If you think your child has what it takes to play at the next level or even has the potential, sign her up to try out. As coaches, we don’t just look at natural talent; we look at hard work, attitude, effort, and potential. We take them and develop them for the next level with their determination to learn, to put in the effort, and never quit.”

There is a $200 registration fee, which is only due once a player has officially made the team.
