The Lassen Volcanoes Swim Team is gearing up for a community fundraiser and is inviting the public to come out and show their support while getting their car a bath!
On Saturday, May 30th, the swim team will be hosting a carwash to help raise much-needed funds for their upcoming season and programs.
The event will take place in the parking lot of O’Reilly Auto Parts, located on Main Street in Susanville. The team will be hard at work scrubbing and shining vehicles from 10:00a.m. until 2:00p.m., so be sure to stop by and get your car looking its best while supporting our local youth swimmers.
In addition to community members bringing their cars by for a wash, the Volcanoes are also looking for extra hands to help make the event a success. Organizers are seeking volunteers to assist with the fundraiser and emphasize that all help is greatly appreciated.
