Lassen Youth Soccer, which has been providing soccer for the youth of Lassen County since 1978, has announced that they have two scholarship opportunities available for 2026 graduating high school seniors who have participated in the league
The organization is offering two $500 scholarships. The application period officially opens today, January 21st, and runs through April 3rd.
How to Apply
To apply for this opportunity, applicants must send a letter to the Lassen Youth Soccer Scholarship Committee. The committee is looking for a letter that details:
- How soccer has impacted you.
- What your post-high school plans are.
- A list of any additional sports, extracurriculars, or community service activities you have participated in over the past year.
Along with your letter, you must include your full name, mailing address, email, phone number and graduating school.

Important Deadlines
Submissions must be postmarked by April 3rd, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered. The top two applicants will be selected before April 24th.
