Lassen Community College has announced the availability of a late-start Biology course, BIOL 22: Human Physiology with Lab. This course is designed for students interested in learning about the structure and function of the human body.
BIOL 22 covers a wide range of topics, including the functions of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous and sensory systems, cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, respiratory, urinary, digestive, endocrine and reproductive systems. The course is taught at the cellular, tissue, organ, organ system, and organism level.
This late-start course is ideal for students who were unable to enroll in a traditional fall semester class or who prefer a more flexible schedule. The course starts on September 30th and runs through December 13th, meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 to 6:15p.m.
BIOL 22 is approved for online and hybrid delivery, giving students the option to take the course either remotely or in person.
