The Rural Community College Alliance in conjunction with Lassen Community College will be hosting a USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Training Seminar on August 2nd, from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. in the LCC Board Room.
This seminar will be conducted by USDA Rural Development staff. They will be providing training for Community Colleges, municipal governments, county governments, hospitals, public school districts, other public entities on how to use the community facilities program including loans, grants and interim construction financing.
If you are considering a building project, a remodel or a technology upgrade this is an opportunity for your agency to learn how to submit your project to USDA Rural Development for funding.
Funding is typically very low-interest, long-term loans directly from the USDA.
