Students from Lassen Community College’s Nursing Program will be holding a Candy Dash 5K Fundraiser this Saturday, October 28th, to help raise money for a student trip to Belize in June. The nurses will be traveling to the country of Belize in Central America to donate their time and give nursing care to those who need their help.
There will be an Adult 5K Run and a 1.5 miles ‘Treat Trail’ for the kids with candy every 1/2 mile.
Students will also be selling treats and other goodies.
Dress up if you dare! Free water and T-Shirt will be provided with your entry fee. Registration for adults is $25, children under 15 are $15 and children under 5 are $5.
The event, which begins at 10:00a.m., will be held in Susanville Ranch Park.
