LCOE Announces 2026 Educator Summit at Diamond View School

The Lassen County Office of Education is inviting educators and school staff to the 2026 Educator Summit, a full day dedicated to learning, connection, and practical strategies designed to bring fresh energy back to your classroom and school community.

This year, the summit moves to a new location at Diamond View School. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 7th, running from 9:30a.m. to 3:00p.m.

Keynote and Special Guests
The day will begin with check-in, breakfast, and a welcome address, followed by an energizing keynote from Jonathan Alsheimer. Alsheimer will also return to lead the closing session in the afternoon.

Organizers are also pleased to welcome special guests, including Jacob Carr from the Butte County Office of Education and Sharon Krull, who will be providing specific support for early childhood education under the theme of “Power Play.”

Learning Labs
Following the morning keynote, attendees will have the opportunity to choose their own learning experience through various “Learning Lab” sessions.

Participants can dive into diverse subjects ranging from Next Level Teaching and Math strategies to Protect Training and Fostering Belonging. The summit also features unique sessions titled Mindful Beat, Scrambled Eggs and Icebergs, and an engaging session called Start your Engines! Ready, Set, Go!

Lunch will be provided at 12:30 to break up the learning sessions.
