LCOE Releases 2025 Report to the Community, Highlighting Student and Educator Success

The Lassen County Office of Education has released its 2025 Report to the Community, offering a look at the key achievements, programs and partnerships that supported more than 3,700 students and educators across Lassen County during the 2024–2025 school year. The report emphasizes LCOE’s role in providing essential services and leadership to the county’s 10 school districts and 3 charter schools.

Key Highlights from the Past Year
The report showcases LCOE’s ongoing commitment to fostering an environment of quality education and support. Noteworthy accomplishments and initiatives featured in the report include:

Community and Collaboration: Advancing collaboration through Differentiated Assistance and Community Schools Initiatives, which brought educators, families, and community partners together to better serve students.

Mental Wellness: Expanding Mental Health and Wellness Services, specifically noting the work of the Care Team in connecting students and families with critical supports.

Professional Growth: Offering robust Professional Learning opportunities, such as the Educator Summit and Learning Day, designed to foster innovation and growth among school staff.

Student Engagement: Hosting impactful Student programs and events, including the You Matter Conference and Career Skills & Opportunity Day, which focused on engagement and preparation for students’ futures.

Celebrating Excellence: Recognizing the dedication of local professionals through annual events like the Educator Gala and Staff of the Year Awards.
