Learn Life-Saving Skills at June 24th CPR and First-Aid Class

The Susanville Fire Department in cooperation with SEMSA and the Lassen County Health Department will be hosting a community CPR and First Aid class at the Susanville Fire Hall on June 24th.

“It is our mission to educate and support our community members as they may come to those in need of CPR or First Aid,” explains Fire Chief James Moore.

The class starts at 8:00a.m. in the station at 1505 Main Street and will last six hours with a half-hour lunch break.

According to Chief Moore the course is intended for the general public and will not meet professional rescuer requirements.

If you or anyone you know would like to participate, or if you have questions, please call the Fire Department at 257-5152.

Class size is limited to 30 people, and the cost is $5.
