
You’re invited to the Lassen Library Family Literacy’s October family literacy program, “Halloween at the Library!”
This spook-tacular event will take place on Saturday, October 4th at 10:00a.m. at the Lassen Library, located at 1618 Main St.
The morning will be dedicated to boosting family literacy and helping children succeed in school. The program focuses on enhancing reading and math skills through hands-on activities and storytime for families.
While the program is geared toward children under the age of eight, all school-aged children are invited to attend.
October Storytime & Craft Schedule
Get ready for some spooky fun! The library is hosting storytime and craft sessions every Wednesday at 11:00a.m. in the Children’s Room.
Weekly Schedule:
- October 1st: Join us for storytime and a mummy craft, inspired by the book Where’s My Mummy?
- October 8th: We’ll read Room on the Broom and then make our own broom craft.
- October 15th: The story of the week is Bat Loves the Night, followed by a bat craft.
- October 22nd: Come listen to Bonaparte Falls Apart and then get creative with a bone craft.
- October 29th: Our last story and craft of the month will be a special Halloween craft, inspired by the book Corduroy’s Best Halloween Ever!
There will also be a “Playday” every Tuesday in October for some extra fun.
