Susanville Little League teams will kick off their 2025 season on Saturday, April 5th, with a big Opening Day celebration, complete with a parade along River Street to Pat Murphy Field that begins at 7:30a.m.
Organizers are inviting everyone out to celebrate the little league players by lining the parade route, which begins at South Fairfield by Joe’s Coffee and heads west on River Street to the fields.
Opening ceremonies at Pat Murphy Field will begin at 8:00 and will include an introduction of the teams, a raffle, singing of the national anthem, the Little League Pledge and Scott Foreman will throw out the first pitch.
The first games of the season will start at 9:00.
The Pat Murphy Field parking lot will be closed to the general public so that parade vehicles can drive down into the park with the athletes. Handicap parking will be available at the field.
