Lassen Municipal Utility District is inviting community members to pull up a chair and start their morning with a conversation this morning, June 1st, when LMUD General Manager Nick Dominguez will host the third in a series of the district’s “Coffee with the GM” events at the Blue Ox Bistro in Uptown Susanville.
The get-together, which runs from 7:00 to 8:00a.m., offers LMUD customers a casual environment to enjoy coffee and pastries while discussing the future of publicly-owned power.
Dominguez, who has served as LMUD’s General Manager since January of 2025, and before that was both IT and Business Manager, sees this as a vital step in maintaining transparency and community connection.
“This informal gathering is a chance to ask questions, share ideas, and learn more about how we serve our community,” says Dominguez.
Building a Stronger Community
The initiative is part of LMUD’s ongoing commitment to its founding 1986 vision: providing safe, reliable, and reasonably priced power. Dominguez emphasizes that public participation is key to the district’s success.
“Your engagement makes us stronger,” Dominguez noted. “I invite you to join us as we work together to protect our community’s energy future.”
This is the second in a series of community conversations. For those unable to attend on Monday, future dates and locations will be posted at lmud.org and on the district’s social media channels.
