Lassen Municipal Utility District will be switching to an alternate power source tonight while PG&E shuts down transmission lines for maintenance.
According to LMUD Energy Services Manager Theresa Phillips, at approximately midnight tonight LMUD will disconnect from PG&E and ‘island’ with Honey Lake Power.
“The LMUD system will receive power from HLP for 18 to 24 hours,” explains Phillips. “We anticipate a smooth transition and LMUD customers should not be affected.”
