Everett Heard of Heard’s Market at Litchfield helps the Lassen County Junior Rodeo royalty select their reigning outfits for this Sunday’s 11th annual event, from left, princesses, Sue Pierce and Marty Kelly and Queen Cheri Flux.
Heard each year gives the queen and princesses their choice of western pants and shirts which this year will be blue checked western pants with pink blouses. The Lassen County Fair board will top it off with a gift of pink western straw hats.
The Lassen County Cattlemen’s Association presents each girl with a handsome engraved sterling silver buckle to remember the occasion.
