Renovated Roosevelt Pool Officially Opened Monday
THE SUSANVILLE RECREATION COMMISSION on Monday, May 22, officially opened the Roosevelt Swimming Pool for the 1972 season. During the winter there has been a major renovation of the pool including the installation of a new chlorination system, a new ventilation system, automatic temperature controls, repainting and replacement of all the broken windows.
Funds from the City of Susanville, the Susanville Elementary School District, the Lassen High School District and the Lassen College District have made this project possible.
The pool will open its doors to the public for Recreational Swimming on Saturday, May 27, from 1-5p.m. An advanced ticket sale for summer seasons tickets, which will be honored from Saturday through Sept. 3, will begin at 12:30p. m. at the pool.
