Marble Tourney for Susanville

The Veteran’s of Foreign Wars post No. 2381 will sponsor a marble competition for Susanville boys on the playground back of Roosevelt school May 6. Al Pliler is chairman for the VFW.
Local winners will move on to district competition at Herlong on May 13, the winner of which will vie in state finals.
The meet will be open to all boys through the eighth grade. Contestants are asked to bring their own marbles. Rules will be announced at the meet.
