BASKETBALL AWARD WINNERS — Lassen High’s basketball teams were honored by the LHS Sports Boosters at an Awards Night on Wednesday, March 1, at the Student Center. The Boosters will honor the wrestlers and drill team in another Awards Night this Wednesday, March 8, at 7 p.m., also at the Student Center.
In the top left photo are varsity boys basketball award winners. From left are:
Back row — Randy Doyle (most improved), Curt Prince (most inspirational) and Roger Rupp (best field goal percentage);
Front row — Alan Money (most rebounds), Dan Hamilton (best defensive player) and John Sloan (best free throw percentage). Not pictured, Bob Angius (most valuable player and all-league).
The Lassen JV boys award winners are shown in the top right photo.
Jim Hardy (most improved) and Greg Myers (most valuable) are in the back row while Rob Valceschini (most inspirational) and Steve Francis (best defensive player) are in the front row.
