Diamond View Brain Drain Finals
April 6, 1978
BRAIN DRAIN VICTORS — Friday, the finals of the Diamond View School’s Brain Drain Contest were held. Questions from all manner of scholasticism puzzled the champion teams of each grade level at the school to determine the top teams.
The fifth-sixth combination team from the class taught by Gerri Macintyre established an early lead to beat an all-sixth grade team for the fifth-six division title.
The seventh-eighth graders of Connie Money made a late come back to win by one question. A recount, however, revealed a tie and so the seventh graders taught by Waine MacAllister shared in the honors.
