Name Winner Remark-a-bull

NAME WINNER. Jane Bengard of Janesville has named Lassen County Fair’s new logo. Mrs. Bengard’s winning name for the insignia character is “Lassen’s Remark-A-Bull.”
As winner, she will be the guest of the fair management for all of the grandstand shows this week plus receiving passes for the carnival rides.
The new insignia will be used on premium books, ribbons and trophies. In future years it will also be used on stationery and other materials connected with the fair. The handsome young “bull of the woods” was designed to depict the major features of the fair as well as the county’s economy — agriculture, lumbering and recreation.
