Go Western Week Scheduled to Start Monday

WESTERN SPIRIT. Three of Susanville and Lassen County’s key men are set to “Go Western” starting Monday, Aug. 9th, and urge everyone in the county to join them in wearing western clothes from now through fairtime.
“Go Western Week” starting Monday is Lassen County’s warm-up to their annual county fair and livestock show which opens Aug. 18th and continues through the 22nd.

Rodeo Action at the Fair
PRIZE WINNER. There will be plenty of action like this aboard the hurricane deck of a bucking bronc at this year’s Lassen County Fair championship rodeo, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, Aug. 21st and 22nd.
