Riverside Hospital Project Discussed
December 14, 1951
Donald P. Cady was elected chairman of the newly formed committee to study possible enlargement of the Riverside Hospital. Mrs. Carl Lewis and Mrs. Roy O. North were named vice chairman and secretary, respectively.
The group agreed that they could not proceed with enlargement plans until an appraisal has been made of the hospital’s present facilities.
In addition to Drs. C. I. Burnett and J. W. Crever, owners of the hospital, the committee is comprised of one representative form the city, one form the Chamber of Commerce, and two each from the Soroptimist, 20+30, Monticola, Business and Professional Women, Rotary and Lions Club.
