Santa Claus Visits

Santa Claus, who arrived in Susanville for the Christmas season on Friday, Nov. 29th, has been having a steady stream of youthful visitors when he makes appearances in the lobby of the Hotel Mt. Lassen.
Santa (George Oakley) is pictured above with Jamie Clark, son of Richard and Kristine Clark of Susanville, Kandie Parsons, daughter of Jim and Sharon Parsons of Janesville, and Mitchell De Lapp, son of Mr. and Mrs. John De Lapp of Janesville during their visit last Saturday morning.
Santa will be in the hotel lobby Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:30p.m. and on Saturday from 10a.m. to 12 noon and from 2 to 4p.m.
His appearances are being sponsored by the Susanville Merchants Association. (Schullo photo).
