Fruit Growers Have Kiddies Christmas Tree
December 24, 1926

Supply company gathered at the Story Club last Sunday afternoon for their annual Christmas tree program. Candy and gifts of all descriptions were given to all the kiddies who attended.

Several group numbers were presented by the children that were in keeping with the spirit of the season. Some pleasing vocal selections were given by the children and also some group dances.

Several pupils of Mrs. Norma Millar gave songs and dances in a manner that showed the results of Mrs. Millar’s coaching. George DuPraw and Oliver Vetter gave two saxophone duets accompanied by Kenneth Cook, which made a big hit with the audience.

Harry Millar and Kenneth Cook opened the program with several selections. Harry was in his usual good form and his playing called for repeated encores.

The entire program was given without a hitch and the committee in charge must be congratulated for the work which they did in getting the children prepared for the show.

The performance was equal to any produced in larger cities and everyone did their part in giving the kiddies a real Christmas treat.
