Santa Enjoys Visits with Area Children

A BIG RED CANDY CANE was the highlight of a visit with Santa Claus for 4-year-old Heather Ann Parker of Susanville last Friday. Heather visited Santa while he was in the Bootery.
Santa said he has visited with many more than 400 area children since he arrived in Susanville late last month and expects to see several more during his last two days uptown on Friday evening and Saturday.
Dolls remain a popular Christmas request for little girls, Santa said, while trucks, slot car sets and “Star Wars” games are popular among little boys.
