Susanville Store Robbery Reported
February 25th, 1931
A masked bandit, described as being thin and between 28 and 30 years old, walked into a local grocery store owned by G. L. Webb late last night, struck up the proprietor and a customer under blazing light, scooped up $70 from the cash register and fled in a waiting automobile.
The car was said to have been a sedan bearing Utah license plates. No trace of the bandit had been found today.
