New Lassen College gym features motor driven bleachers

Workman Leom Thompson of the American Seating Company adds some final touches to the Lassen Community College gymnasium which is scheduled to open today.
The gym features motor-driven bleachers, in their folded position on the left, which unfold with the press of a button. They are the first of their type to be installed in the nation.
The Lassen Cougar’s basketball squad will take to the court tonight in a Golden Valley Conference game with Yuba College at 8p.m.
