Smokey the Bear Visits Susanville Pre School
January 19, 1975

SMOKEY THE BEAR VISITS – Children attending the Susanville Pre-School enjoyed a visit from Smokey the Bear on Thursday, January 16th.

Doug Teton, fire prevention officer from the Eagle Lake District Office, Lassen National Forest, told the children how to prevent fires and was assisted by Smokey the Bear (Bill Walker), also from the Eagle Lake District Office, in distributing fire prevention literature.
