Susanville Marching Band Makes Visit to Disneyland

PROUD MARCHERS — Members of the Susanville Marching Band stepped out proudly in Disneyland last weekend in their long-awaited march at the Magic Kingdom.
More than 100 local students, members of the Lassen High and Diamond View School bands, Lassen High drill team and banner carriers, made a four-day trip to southern California, the culmination of more than two years of fund raising efforts.
Through their hard work and some donations, the students raised the $16,000 necessary for travel expenses, food and lodging and entertainment.
