Almost Fathers Day Baby

ALMOST FATHER’S DAY BABY. Young Jason Roy Goforth, held by his mother, Sherryl, has been singled out by the Lassen County Cow Belles as the first baby born on Father’s Day, almost. But it took young Jason four days past Father’s Day to wrap up the distinction.

Jason chose to arrive at 3:14p.m. on Thursday, June 21st, four days after Father’s Day, a period of waiting for babies that kept an enthusiastic Lassen Memorial Hospital staff on their toes as well as the Cow Belles.
Jason joins a family of three other Goforth children, Janis, 8, Dennis, 5, and Heidi, 22 months, at their home on Harrison Street, Susanville.
